A child’s reading skills are important to their success in school as reading will allow them to access the breadth of the curriculum and improve their communication and language skills. In addition, reading can be a fun and imaginative time for children, which opens doors to all kinds of new worlds for them.
For Grade 5-7 readers (Lexile 700-800)
National Geographic Education: We offer a program on National Geography. This course seeks to inspire Pre Kindergarten – Grade 12 students to learn about the world in innovative and interdisciplinary ways! Throughout this experience, students will have the opportunity to connect with each other and develop skills that will add depth and meaning to their understanding of the world. Students will also work in groups to create a multimedia project to showcase their growth and impact.
