APASS Youth Leadership Program is approved and endorsed by Toastmasters International. We also have a Certificate of Affiliation with Toastmasters International. Our Leadership Program is certified and recognized. Here we promote the academic success and well-being of our youths (14-18 years old)!
Our Youth Leadership Program has a “Gavel Club” component in it. Gavel clubs are a way of providing the Toastmasters experience to groups who may be ineligible for regular membership due to age, or other circumstances. Following similar Toastmasters club meeting protocols, Gavel clubs use club officer titles and education manuals. However, gavel club members are referred to as “gaveliers”. Gavel clubs also provide Toastmasters members and clubs with an excellent opportunity for community service.
Our Club Mission: We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
